Yunnan Innovative Bio-industry Incubator Management Co., Ltd. was established in April 2011 with a registered capital of 18 million yuan. It is the only national Bio-incubator, national Bio-Maker Space, and national Bio-demonstration base for entrepreneurial innovation of small-scale micro-enterprises in Yunnan Province.  The incubator can provide 22,000m² of incubation area, 12,000m² of supporting service facilities, 900m² of technology center and 1100m² of pilot production workshop. The incubator is located in the Export Processing Zone of Kunming National Economic and Technological Development Zone, where there are emerging industries and financial industries. 

       The incubator is the main participating construction unit of China-ASEAN Innovation Center, which is a national platform to carry out scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation oriented to ASEAN countries, which is granted by the Ministry of science and technology of China within the framework of China ASEAN science and technology partnership plan. The center is jointly constructed by the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China and Yunnan government. China ASEAN Innovation Center aims to continuously improve the level and influence of scientific and technological cooperation, continuously promote scientific and technological exchanges and innovation cooperation, and promote good neighborly friendship between China and ASEAN countries. It is a key role for Yunnan to become a radiation center for South Asia and Southeast Asia. It helps to strengthen innovation cooperation between R & D and industrial development, industrial incubation, improve regional scientific and technological innovation capacity.

       The incubator consists of technology center, post-doctoral research workstation, enterprise comprehensive service department, finance department, administrative human resources, property management department and expert consultants. It can provide public technical service, expert consultation service, science and technology financial service, planning of scientific research projects, marketing, comprehensive evaluation, consultation service, legal service and professional incubatingservices.
